Visiting or working at a professional design studio; to get a overall feel of the studio environment, how the studio runs and whever you would fit in. Maybe having the opportunity to collaborate with professionals or work on a live brief yourself. You could get feedback on your own design work also or just build up a connection with the studio designers and start a constant network going with them which will surely help you out later on in your carear.
What can you learn from industrial experience?
How a studio environment runs, whever you would fit in with the overall vibe of the studio and their work ethics. Learn new techniques, and new ways of working and how to approach live briefs. Learn how to work on a professional level and how to get use to working to live deadlines. You could also learn how to communicate with clients and designers themselves in order to build up a large number of networks within the industry.
What form/format could industrial experience take?
Free lance working, internships and job placements, looking around a design studio to see how it runs or even speaking with clients over the phone or via emails.

Illustration, editorial design, advertising, free lance sales, branding and identity, typography.
What are your concerns about industrial experience?
Nerves, best ways to approach meeting up with a designer and giving them the best first impression. Finding the correct studios to visit, places what are relevant to my practice so i am not wasting my time. Earning enough money and getting started in the industry.
