Image, crits and feedback.

We started the lesson looking round at what the other class had done again, some really nice work done this week by some people, looked really nice and crisp all printed properly on A1. Some people had been more adventurous with their printing and used techniques such as lazer cutting and screen printing which really finished off their designs nicely.
I was quite pleased feedback from my outcomes, even though with an essay deadline earlier on in the week i only had time to finish one of the outcomes off the 100%.
Feedback;

-try different print methods with outcome to make the designs really stand out.

-finish off unfinished outcomes and see how well they would work printed.

-experiment more with outcome to really push the final product.

Image, crits and feedback.

At the start of the lesson we all took our image work and had a look round at what everyone had done to see how others had tackled the brief, then we all separated into small groups to talk through what we had done and received some feedback.

Overall i was happy with what i had done and it seemed to go down quite well with everyone else in the class. One thing which came across from my crit is how with the white backdrop on the illustrations dont really fit in with the article, kind of makes the illustration look like it's missing something with the contrast between the white page and white background. This is something i picked up on before printing the images however didnt have enough time to add a background before the lesson but it something i will definitely look at.

Another thing which cropped up was on the 'billions' article i should of really put the queens head on the coin to make it look more like a coin because it is hard to really understand the concept straight away.
